Elastic Updates - ROUND 6 - Out for Delivery 5/19

This is where I will post all information and updates regarding the elastic pre-order estimated to arrive on Monday, 5/4/20.

Update 5/19/20 @ 1:40pm CST

All 8 boxes are out for delivery!!
I apologize for not updating last night, but they didn't scan in here in San Antonio until after 4am and I was asleep.

My UPS driver is typically here between 5-7pm, so I plan to start working the moment they arrive so I can get the out tomorrow.

I have begun printing shipping labels and all invoices already so the packing process should go fairly quickly.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding! I truly appreciate it!! I'll post some pictures of the elastic when it arrives, it is so much I don't even know where I'm going to put it all.

Update 5/16/20 @ 4pm CST

Order is en-route and still scheduled for delivery Tuesday evening.

This is arriving in 50 yard rolls for the 2mm elastic cord and 200 yard Rolls for the 3mm Flat Elastic.

I have checked the orders, for the 2mm round elastic most of you have ordered in 50 yard increments, which means I won't have to cut and bundle very much elastic so it should all be able to go out Wednesday. The 1/8" (3mm) Flat is the only one I think will have to be cut. I will be cutting these to order and filling orders as I go. Again I have looked at them all and I should be able to get everything packed Tuesday night to go out on Wednesday.

I will be printing all shipping labels Monday.

ORDERS WILL BE PICKED UP BY USPS WEDNESDAY 5/20/20.
They will not be scanned when picked up, he will be picking up close to 100 orders and as such he won't scan each one in. They will be scanned in later at the facility when they are processed in, which could be 1-3 days after pick-up. USPS is running slower currently with everything going on, even priority. There is nothing I can do to speed this up unfortunately. 

I am bulk printing all labels in advance to make it faster when I ship on Tuesday. Doing this saves me a couple of hours of work on Tuesday and gives me more time to pack orders ensuring they all go out ASAP.

Please include your order number (4 digits, beginning with 20, 21, 22, or 23) and the name the order was placed under. Your order number can be found in the confirmation email from Home Grown Ribbon. This will speed up the process and allow me to quickly find your order.

After this point shipping labels will have already been printed and I cannot refund the shipping costs, only elastic. Please make sure "Refund" is in the subject line. I have so many emails asking for updates that I may miss a refund request if it isn't in the subject line.

I will post another update Monday (or sooner if anything changes) once I see it is in San Antonio to let everyone know that it will 100% be here Tuesday.

Update 5/14/20 @ 10pm CST

UPS HAS THE ORDER!!

SCHEDULED DELIVERY: TUESDAY 5/14/20

UPS is in possession of the all of Round 6 boxes (8 in total) and they have cleared customs. They are scheduled for delivery Tuesday (5/19) by 9pm. 

They will most likely be delivered around 5-7pm, meaning they will not ship Tuesday. I will pack all order Tuesday evening and night that way they can go out on Wednesday.

I will post a more detailed update later when I have time, but wanted to let you guys know the delivery date as soon as I did.

It is still not in UPS possession. I have reached out to my supplier daily (and this is a different supplier than the Round 5, so I am very disappointed to be getting the run around again). I have been told "we will get it to you in the time we promised". That was April 25th. I've been told "tomorrow" pretty much every day. I don't believe it anymore, I know it will happen soon, but I have no idea at this point when it will be. I wish I did, but until I see that UPS has it, I can't even begin to venture a guess because they aren't giving me any information besides "tomorrow".

At this point I am still being told it is just waiting to clear customs. I do know that the line for that is long and it's out of everyone's control. New export laws went into effect requiring all items exporting to be thoroughly inspected before being cleared by customs. This is a big part of the problem. 

As always, once it does arrive, I will pack it all the day it gets here and ship it the same day. Luckily this time I was able to ship the majority of the orders with leftovers from Round 5. Those effected by this are mainly people who ordered 1/8" Flat Elastic, large quantities of round elastic (50 yards or more of multiple colors), or orange or light blue elastic. There's only about 50 orders effected by this delay. If you would like me to ship what I can of your order, I can definitely do that. If you only ordered 1/8" Flat Elastic there is no partial for me to ship, if you ordered anything in addition to the 1/8" elastic or delayed items I can ship the items I have.

If you want a partial shipment, please email info@homegrownribbon.com and include "Partial Shipment" in the subject line and I will look and see if I can fulfill part of your order for you now.

I can also issue refunds to anyone who does not want to wait for it to arrive. Please email info@homegrownribbon.com and include "Refund" in the subject line. If you can also include your order number or the name the order was placed under that will help me get it taken care of as quickly as possible.

Once I see tracking or get any updates, I will update here immediately. I will post another update in 3-4 days if the worst happens and I nothing has changed since today's update. 

Update 5/5 @ 2:15pm CST

These did not arrive yesterday as estimated. I am hoping for late this week currently, but will know more tonight. China has been on holiday the past few days so no one has been working. They come back tonight so I will get a response and answer as to why UPS is still not in possession of this.

When I ordered I asked 3 different times what the time frame was (they said 5-7 days) and asked that they check with their Freight Forwarder to ensure that they could meet this delivery time. I was told they could, so I very frustrated at this. I am waiting on a response now and will update as soon as I hear back.

I have shipped over half of the Round 6 orders. I used elastic left over from Round 5 and extra that I ordered in that shipment. If yours has shipped you should have received an email with a link to the tracking information.

I am completely out of the 1/8” flat white, so if your order has this, it is waiting on the next shipment to get here. I am also out of the 2mm Orange and Light Blue, so if you have these you are waiting on the new shipment as well. A few people who ordered bulk quantities orders have not shipped as well due to not having enough stock to fill your entire order (this only applies to about 20 orders). Most orders outside these parameters have been shipped or are being picked up tomorrow.

Liquid error (layout/theme line 140): Could not find asset snippets/spurit_uev-theme-snippet.liquid
